Drive-In Press Release

We take you back 2 months, The Eccleston Arms was a Restaurant, Bar & Hotel offering the highest standard of freshly made delicious meals with the moto “The simple things done beautifully.” Then, without notice we had to close this service due to Government ruling as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Eccleston Arms was transformed into an essential items supermarkets stocking much needed essentials available to NHS, Key workers and the elderly and most vulnerable of the borough 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Together with the outstanding support from Blackbrook Rugby Club & The Steve Prescott Foundation we have been able to make thousands of deliveries across the borough.

As the supermarkets have been able to extend their opening hours and increase their delivery services we expect to see a decrease in the need for our essential items store and, as such, have been planning how else we can support our community. We know that a lot of you are missing your fast food favourites and so will be launching our new ‘Drive-In’ Service this Saturday. We understand that many people are starting to head back to work and this allows us to provide a service to those Key workers heading out every day,

Opening this Saturday 23rd May and available 7 days a week from 8am-10pm this service will be completely contactless and safe. From Breakfast service until 11am, offering breakfast baps to the ultimate Full English perfect to pick up on your way to work or as a treat before you start your working day from home, through to our main menu offering your fast food favourites with an Eccleston Arms touch. With burgers, fries, pizzas and delicious milkshakes included in the menu its perfect to call out on your lunch or on your way home for a tasty dinner. A percentage of the profits from the drive-in will be donated to The SPF.

We have worked extensively to ensure that all safety guidelines are met and followed to maintain your safety and that of our team.

For those unable to drive or leave their homes there will be a delivery service available until 8pm within a 5 mile radius. This service will be provided by the awesome Blackbrook Team & Steve Prescott Foundation ambassadors in return for small delivery charge of £2 which will go directly to The SPF.

A percentage of the profits from the ‘Drive-In’ will also be donated to our great friends at The Charity.

Our Essential Item delivery service will continue to operate until the time that there is no longer a need for this. Delivery for this service remains free of charge. The service to collect and distribute vital PPE and Foodbank donations is still of massive importance to what we are trying to achieve.

Our wonderful Afternoon Teas, Picnic Hampers & Sunday roast deliveries will still be available by calling 01744 881881.

We continue to stress the importance of encouraging people to #StaySafeStayHome

Look out for our Drive-In menu to be released tomorrow.
